Thanks to Jeff Bezos, and Amazon, who have created a system to block new publications from being REGISTERED in the US LIBRARY OF CONGRESS. BEZOS’s reputation for plagiarism in both books, writings, and products was well known back in 2008. When Create Space could not sneak new publications into the Library of Congress, based on the association with Amazon and Bezos, it was clear THE DOORS WERE BLOCKED!
Bezos figured out a way to make this pay off for him. Offer FREE publication by Amazon to new book RELEASES, knowing that these new books would NEVER BE ALLOWED TO BE REGISTERED IN THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS. Perfect! Why? Because they were automatically blocked based on Amazon publishing these books. It must be done before the first book is published and most writers don’t know how important it will be for their works.
A Registration number for the Library of Congress (LC or LCCN) must be recorded BEFORE the book is released! That door is never opened again for a book.
Now Bezos figures that every book that he publishes is a product that he can sell OVER AND OVER for decades, just like my book Yorkies Head to Tail. 25 years now! Amazon has never paid me a dime. Not for 25 years printing and selling my books.
The catch! Every book Bezos (aka Amazon) blocks from being registered in the Library of Congress means that book will never be allowed in the inventory of ALL LIBRARIES IN THE US. EVERY LIBRARY must get their permission and an assigned number from the mother Library, THE US LIBRARY OF CONGRESS, to be added to their inventory! YES!
So, every book Amazon, Aka Bezos, prints for free, means HE will make money off the resale of that book on Amazon, both new and used, FOREVER! And to him it means he has blocked that book from ever being LOANED OUT IN A LIBRARY FOR FREE TO PEOPLE WHO WANT TO LEARN OR BE ENTERTAINED. FOR FREE!
He can’t stand that! So as Libraries across our nation, in counties, schools, and Universities, are less frequently used due to limited availability, the governments are cutting back costs.
FOUR out of FIVE here in Pima County, Arizona this month! I guess one token Library for our entire county! What are they doing with all the books in the four closed Libraries!???
